This was in response to rising concerns of safety for school students and efficiency for administrators. The new, totally web-based application includes more new features like: text message notifications for sexual offender checks, scanning of student IDs, visitor face detection, enhanced banned persons, and a parent-student database. These features are available now for no additional cost over the previous edition. Additional new features will be pushed seamlessly to customers, including third-party integrations and translation tools.
Emily Fellouzis, Ident-A-Kid’s Director of Development and Sales, says, “Not all schools have the same needs when it comes to visitor management. We’re always listening to our customers’ feedback for improvements. That feedback allowed us to add new, innovative security measures to the system that are useful and easy to implement. We’re confident that our new v4.0 software is a solution schools will want to use.”
Not only was customer feedback used to start developing the new software, but throughout the process customers were involved by testing newly released features.
