Check a visitor's temperature before they enter campus or a bus with our contactless thermometer. Featuring state-of-the-art technology, it uses an infrared sensor to take temperature readings from the forehead, or hand. Using a motion detection sensor, that will automatically turn on and take measurements of body temperature, students and visitors simply wave their palm in front of the device, and in less than 1 second their temperature is read and stored.
If the measured body temperature is elevated (>99.5°F), a red indicator will light up with a continuous alarm beep, otherwise, the display will light up with a green indicator with one short beep. Sound is optional but preferred.
No power cord necessary. Runs on 3 AAA batteries. With auto on and off motion sensors, batteries can last up to 3 months.
This package includes:
Digital Non-Touch Infrared Thermometer, Articulating Arm Mount with clip for attachment on bus or other mobile location, instruction signage with double-sided tape for any mounting option, 1-year warranty, installation instructions, pre-setup to work out of the box, and an extra set of AAA batteries.
